A Tribe Called Anguish

This painting reflects my sentiments about the state of the world right now. There is a lot of anger in the main character in this piece, who wants to scream. The small figure to the right takes on a defying attitude towards this character. Still there is hope in this painting. There’s a blue sky background and a comforting figure in the upper left who wants to protect the screaming character. Below the figure holding the umbrella, there’s a diver coming up for air, trying to find his bearing. The title, “A tribe called anguish” tells the story of a growing bunch of people around the world who find themselves miserable about the state of the world, BUT at the same time – hopeful, like me!
